What Does the 100,000-Mile Service Involve?

At 100,000 miles, your Volkswagen is a pro at getting around! It also requires several services to ensure that it gives you thousands of more miles to enjoy. When you bring your VW in for its 100,000-mile service, we’ll perform the following:

• Oil Change. When it comes to ensuring engine longevity, oil changes are some of the most important services. Oil lubricates your engine, so regular oil changes keep everything moving along smoothly.
• Tire Inspection. The tires play a vital role in your VW model’s safety and comfort. When our technicians inspect the tires, they’ll take a look at the tire tread depth to make sure that it’s at a safe level and to ensure that there’s no uneven wear (which could be a sign of other problems). They’ll also inspect the tire pressure and adjust it as needed so that it matches factory specs.
• Battery Test. The car battery plays a vital role in starting your Volkswagen, so a dead battery is no fun. We have the tools needed to see how much charge your battery can hold. If you need a new battery, we can replace it for you.
• Brake Fluid Level Check. Brake fluid is a hydraulic fluid that’s crucial for your braking system. It transfers and amplifies the braking force when you step on the brake pedal. We’ll make sure that you have the right amount of brake fluid in your braking system so that your brakes can still work as they should.
