The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz is the perfect entry point to the all-electric future with its refined powertrain options. There are three distinct trim options, starting with the base-level Pro S which features a rear-mounted electric motor that provides 282 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Those needing additional power will opt for one of the 4Motion® all-wheel drive models with a dual motor setup that produces 335 horsepower instead.

The all-wheel-drive system has no traditional mechanical links between the axles; instead, it opts for a differential and single-speed gearbox. The rear motor handles most operations, only engaging the front motor as needed. When driving this new Volkswagen vehicle, you can expect an EPA-estimated all-electric range of 234 miles and 90 MPGe in the city.
